MetroidMaker gave me some suggestions for the Hyper Suit, and these were the options he gave me:
I am leaning towards the White suit, for a couple of reasons. White is good, black is evil (debatable), it was hard to choose another suit from another colour, because White doesn't really imply that you need it for a certain thing in the game, wheras Varia (from a Metroid mind, however) looks as though it is needed in high-temperature rooms etc. White is also the colour of the White Power Ranger, and he was the 'Leader' of the Rangers (from what I can remember), and Hyper Suit is the strongest suit...
If you have any other suggestions, such as a different coloured suit, comment on this post and tell me.
Anyway, I hope to have an update for you soon, but that all depends on my coder. So for now, goodbye :)

ReplyDeleteSo many options, so many awesome suits. I think the last 3 on the 2nd row wouldnt look too good, and might conflict with some of the environment.
ReplyDeleteBut I really like the bottom one. Its not white, its not blue, its a mixture of both. I have to say I'm now leaning towards that suit, now.

And, Im really sorry about this whole delay in Shinesparking, MM. My coder hasnt got his internet back yet, STILL! Its becoming really frustrating, for me and perhaps a tiny little bit for you, but you will get it sometime in the future.

Ive been working a bit on the levels, i made some, but deleted them because they were done WAY to fast and werent good at all.
ReplyDeleteat the moment im just experimenting, but i have got some awesome maps for levels that im REALLY looking forward to making. u guys are gonna be blown away - seriously. they are that good.
I think a blue suit would be cool, as it hasn't been done before, but instead of making it like the varia suit but recolored, maybe you could make up a whole new design, maybe bulk her up more, or slim her down or something

ReplyDeleteRecker: I thought about bulking her up, but i decided against it because i think it wouldnt look too good (i mean bulking bigger than varia).
ReplyDeleteSlimming her down might be an option, it would make her lighter, more athletic - Could be some characteristics of the Hyper suit?
And yes, I also like the blue. If MM doesnt come out with some even better suits, I think I am going to put my foot down on the light blue suit.
I've got a couple of ideas for new ones.
ReplyDeleteOnes purple, ones red... However, taking the time to edit an editing to make Samus "slimmer" would take a long to do, depends on how much you change the suit.
The easiest way to make her slimmer if to use the Power suit of Zero mission, and then edit it.
ReplyDeleteAs you see in yours, all of yours have the shoulder pads. You lose them, and the other armour and youve got a slimmer Samus ;)
It would be easier said than done, though..
