Its still going

I haven't been working on this for a while, I'm not proud of myself but I am feeling refreshed nonetheless and am ready to begin working again.
I am still working on the first world, but I have made a few mistakes and will probably have to restart the whole thing or delete a lot until I can find where I stuffed up :(

I am using tiles to create the room from maps that I have previously mentioned and it looks great. It seriously is awesome! But it takes a long, long time to do and is easy to make mistakes. Once I finish the tiles, I replace the tiles with solid objects that will be invisable in the game so Samus can do what we know she can do.

It is going to take time. There wont be a demo for quite a while because I didn't want to say there have been this many 'hiccups'. It is coming along slowly and hopefully there will be a breakthrough soon.
I am still pretty much working by myself at the moment on the game, but my partners will be working hard soon as they always do and they have done such a great job so far.

I can announce some updates though:

*Here are the maps I am going to use - http://www.vgmaps.com/NewsArchives/April2009/index.htm#MetroidDread

*There are some great new weapons I am adding, some are just revamped weapons that look much better, and some are completely new weapons.

*There is a Hyper Suit

*There will be approx six worlds/areas in the game

*There are plenty of enemies to be found

*Samus will be able to do a lot of stuff

Please be patient, it is going to take a while but it is going to be great!

  1. Besides the mistakes, the updates sound great and take as long as you want so the game can be perfect. Of course I will enjoy playing it when it's finally finished, but I will wait as long as it takes!
Good luck and I hope you find the mistakes so you don't have to restart everything.
