Demo coming and question...

Okay. The next demo is almost out. It's been a long, long time in the making, but it will be here soon. THE DEMO WILL BE IN MY NEXT POST. The reason it has taken this long has to do with many reasons, the main one's including: general laziness, lack of time, constant changing of Samus sprites, team communication etc etc.

And now, I have a question for everyone. Without asking anyone  I decided by myself to (as of present, but may change) to not use the 'Missile' sprite of Samus, and instead just have the same Samus sprite for regular 'beam' shots AND 'missile' shots.
What I would like to know is - Would people like to have that sprite, or do you not care?

I just haven't included it because I didn't really think it was too important...
Anyway, looking forward to your input!

  1. I think it should be in, it may take a while, but it's better to have it in then not. Besides, I already did some >.>
Happy to hear there is going to be a demo! Can't wait XD

  2. Yeah I guess your right. I think there 'could' be another way to add in the missile part without it being too time consuming, so I may look at that.

The suits are almost done, so when they are the demo should follow soon after!

  3. I just thought for the demo maybe you could just use an effect such as green sparks come out of the cannon when missiles are on and red sparks when they are off? Or something similar maybe? It's an idea anyway.
But I think missile sprites should definitely be used for the final release.

  8. Even if it might consume some time, this is the kind of things that would make the game feel well made and solid. I'd say the missile mode sprites really should be in the game. It's like not adding a jump animation even though the character is ought to jump.

  10. Demo is coming, hopefully (if i can) very soon. I've got a lot on my plate at the moment, and through no-ones fault but my own I have continued to push working on this to a later date, which I am not happy with.

I'll try to work harder, and hopefully you guys can get some indication as to where the game is at.
